^{After campaigning and succeeding in keeping an office of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Salem, our proposed contract for the “Salem License Bureau” to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles was NOT awarded to us. Instead, the contract was awarded to another party from out of the area.}

^{Therefore, after Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 12:00 Noon, the “Salem License Bureau” will no longer exist in its present form. Any and all visits to the Salem location after this date, will no longer involve the familiar people, kind faces, friendly surroundings, and several of the current services, everyone has come to rely on. The outgoing Deputy Registrar and office personnel will continue to serve your needs through the above stated date and time, but will not be responsible for any and all business transactions taking place after that.}
